Installation of the network license manager and activation of the network license (server)
Before you can activate an IBS.CAD workstation using a network license, the network license manager must be installed on the network server.
You can obtain the network license manager from IBS support. We are also happy to assist you with the installation of the network license manager and the activation of the network license on the server (online or offline).
Activating IBS.CAD at the CAD workstation using a network license (client)
IBS.CAD was installed locally at the CAD workstation and may have previously been used as a trial version (30 days).
Now you want to permanently activate the program on this workstation. After you have launched IBS.CAD by double-clicking the desktop icon “IBS.CAD” Once started, the "Welcome" dialog box appears.
Click the "Activate" button here to access the settings. to the dialog box “IBSCAD Register”.
(If you accidentally clicked the "Trial Version" button and started IBS.CAD as a trial version, you can also access the "IBSCAD Register" dialog box via the "Help" pull-down menu – "Register" or the "Help" ribbon tab – "Register")
In the “IBSCAD Register” dialog box, select the “Software Encryption (Flexnet)” option under “Network” and click the “Next” button.
In the next dialog box “Server IP Address”, enter the name or IP address and port of the network license manager and click “OK”.
The activation of the IBS.CAD workstation (client) is now complete.
