This application is software that, as an extension to IBS.CAD, significantly simplifies and accelerates the design and creation of clean planning documents for metal construction, light steel construction, glass construction, etc.
The Library Manager is a user-friendly application for managing large symbol libraries. It contains information on each supplier, as well as descriptions and data for each library component. The convenient search function allows users to easily find profiles or components by keyword or property.
Currently, the CAD library contains over 40,000 drawings of various steel and light metal systems, fittings, sun protection, and other standard parts from more than 50 manufacturers and suppliers.
The project manager displays the file system similarly to Windows Explorer. It is divided into four columns (folders, files, documents, notes), which can be shown or hidden. The content of the columns can be filtered, for example, by file type. The existing file system is not modified; information is simply stored additionally in a database.
Existing folders can be saved to the database and thus become projects. Project numbers, names, addresses, and other information can then be added.
Document editing is automatically monitored. After saving and closing, the user is prompted to add a change note. The editing time can also be saved.
New files are created directly from the project folder using managed file templates. Reports can be used to print file and document lists. Users can edit forms or create their own reports.
The project manager is part of the application and can be purchased separately. The basic program (similar to Windows Explorer) is free. Only the additional functions (plugins) are sometimes subject to a fee and require registration.
