IBS.Naturstein is the economical 2D/3D CAD solution.
for all planning tasks in the natural stone sector.
With IBS.Naturstein you can create working drawings, production documents and photorealistic images of grave sites, stairs, floors, bathrooms, kitchen worktops, facades, frames, tracery, balustrades, fountains, tables, benches...etc.
- Model space, layout space
- Layers, line types, hatch patterns
- Dimension styles, text styles, table styles, plot style tables,...
All DWG / DXF files from the last few decades can be edited 1:1.
The program comes with a basic video course (6 videos, totaling 3 hours of footage). This allows even those without prior CAD experience to work productively with IBS.Naturstein from day one. We also offer a subsequent, customized 8-hour advanced course. This course is typically conducted online as company-specific training (two 4-hour sessions over a period of 1-2 weeks).
However, it can also be conducted in our training rooms in Liechtenstein or at your company premises.
The program is available in 3 versions:
IBS.Naturalstone.Tomb
IBS.Naturalstone.Construction
IBS.Naturstein.PRO (GRAMEAL + CONSTRUCTION)
GRAVESTONE PLANNING
Gravestones can be constructed as 3D models in almost any complex shape and presented photorealistically at the actual gravesite using the rendering module. Even the shadow cast by the gravestone can be adjusted to match the background photo. Furthermore, 2D drawings can be derived from the 3D model. Dimensioned 2D views and photorealistic images can be placed on a layout and thus used in production and for the gravestone application.
IBS.Naturstein includes extensive libraries for gravestone accessories, ornaments, plants, headstones, borders, cover slabs, natural stone materials, etc. These library elements can be resized with just a few clicks, eliminating the need to create new drawings. Naturally, every stonemason can expand these integrated libraries with their own. Users can also easily create their own material libraries (material photos) and cemetery libraries (photos of empty graves).
The CAD program uses TrueType fonts. Font size, width, spacing, slant, and the geometry of individual letters can be easily modified. Horizontal, vertical, and curved fonts, as well as fonts for cylindrical steles (recessed or recessed raised), are no problem. Naturally, the lettering can be transferred to a CNC machine or printed on a cutting plotter.
BUILDING
Stairs
The digital measurements of the unfinished staircase can be imported into IBS.Naturstein via the DXF interface.
Of course, the program also has functions that allow the measurements to be transferred manually, easily and quickly.
The "Split Stairway Line" function evenly applies the step edges to the stairway and determines the stair data (tread width, step length, etc.). After the step edges are adjusted, templates for the treads and risers are generated. The 3D model of the staircase is then created based on these 2D templates. From this 3D model, the wall elevations and floor plan are derived and dimensioned.
Furthermore, the desired natural stone materials can be assigned to the 3D model of the staircase in the rendering module, thus enabling the customer to be presented with various material suggestions.
Floor coverings
When planning floor coverings, any floor layout can be created. Based on this, the tile geometry can be generated, taking into account the joint width and tile thickness. These tiles are created as 2D and 3D models, allowing natural stone textures to be assigned to them in the rendering module. This results in a realistic representation of the floor covering.
Furthermore, dynamic floor patterns with different tile dimensions can be saved in custom libraries for quick and easy installation on any floor surface within a single project. The edge tiles are then adjusted accordingly.
facades
Anchor images for mortar anchors used to fasten facade panels can be selected from the library and adjusted to the panel size. The system automatically applies the fifth-to-fifth layer spacing, which can be easily modified as needed. Program routines assist the user in creating the stone lists. The panels are generated as 2D and 3D models, allowing material structures to be assigned to them in the rendering module.
Solid constructions
Tracery, window and door frames, parapets, fountain systems, ...etc.
Cuts can be made at any point on individual blocks of stone. This allows for the easy creation of the counter-templates required for manufacturing, which can then be provided to the stonemason. Mass properties, such as weight, center of gravity, and the dimensions of the smallest circumscribing cuboid of a stone, can be easily determined. The solid model of the block can be transferred via the STL interface to a 3D printer or a CNC machine that processes blocks of stone in three dimensions.
